Star Wars Blaster Catalogue D6This emporium references weapons from the D6 core rulebook, Star Wars Sourcebooks, Galaxy Guides and supplements. Also modem versions of KotOR weapons have been added. Sample Specializations for the Blaster skill: blaster pistol, heavy blaster pistol, blaster carbine, blaster rifle, BlasTech DL-44, hold-out blaster or sporting blaster. Unless otherwise mentioned, all power packs cost 25 credits each.
Blasters
There are thousands of blaster models in the galaxy today. Merr-Sonn, BlasTech, Czerka, and SoroSuub each have tens of lines with dozens of models and variants. Those are the four largest blaster manufacturers—there are hundreds more selling to regional and sector markets.
Hold-Out BlastersSmall enough to hide in your hand, these light defensive blasters are illegal or closely regulated in most systems. Hold-out blasters require custom designed power packs and only hold enough blaster gas for a few shots. Popular among undercover agents and criminals that prefer low profiles. Blaster CarbinesThese Weapons are generally shorter and less accurate than blaster rifles, the weapons they are based upon. A popular practice during the Galactic Civil War, manufacturers would take their own most successful blaster rifles, upgrade them & release them as carbines. Average 5D, cost: 900, availability 1,R. Sporting Blaster RiflesBuilt in an attempt to circumvent standard restrictions on the blaster rifle, the “sport rifle” is merely a smaller version of its more lethal cousin. Introduced in the early days of the Empire by groups that wonied about the new centralization of power. In general, it’ s just as restricted as the blaster rifle.
