Echos of Darkness pt.1 Corruption

Okay, because you rolled a natural twenty, the shot hits automatically and does double damage. So 4 total.
The guard takes the bolt square in his sternum. The bolt lifts the guard off his feet and sends him back and over the side of the bridge. You hear his screams slowly fade as he plumets deeper into courascant's bowels untill disappearing entirely. The fifth guard now sqeezes out a shot from his blaster.

The bolt streaks toward you. All the while, sky traffic zooms by above and below you, only intensifying the gusts of wind that already threaten to blow you from the bridge.

The shot misses. Now, the sixth guard has already been killed. Your turn.

Drake hears the blaster bolt go screeching by, only missing by a couple of feet, and then hits the side of the tall building and discenegrates into the building. Drake then sets his target on the 5th guard and grips his saber tighter, as he begins to run toward the gaurd and attempts to plunge the saber into the gaurds chest.

Draco misses with his desperate lunge at the gaurd and almost falls off of the bridge, but jumps back and his toes attach to the bridge to hold him from falling. He quickly tunrs and see the gaurd that lets a bolt go screeching toward him, he braces himself and tries to block the blaster round.

The blaster bolt screeches through the air and barely misses Drake's saber and plunges into Drake's chest, sending him flying back into the wall of the building. He screams in agony as he falls off the building and back onto the long railess bridge, he grunts a time or two and then slowlys stands up. He readies himself by activating his saber and gripping it tight.

Drake gribs his saber and sees the fourth gaurd is his ranges and snarls in anger, to the damage he has caused him. Drake holds his saber up high with the hilt at the top of his head and the saber blade pointing down, the crimson color glowing and reflecting off of Drake's face. He gets with within 5 feet of the gaurd and attempts to jump toward the gaurd and bring his blade down and decapitate the gaurd.

A natural 1, an automatic miss. The three remaining guards line up in a desperate attempt to kill you once and for all. Clicks and hums could be heard as all three guns raised and charged. Then they fired one after the other. Three red hot energy blasts streaked toward you.

One bolt strays wide and disappears into the dark distance of Courascant. The other two are on their marks. The guards eyes widen in expectancy as they wonder if they had finally completed their task in killing you. Then, as you ready yourself for the destructive shots, you notice a small patch on on guard's shoulder. Then, drawing your attention to the other guards, you notice the same patch on the other two guard's shoulders as well. You have seen this symbol before, but cannot remember where or what it means. Everything seems to slow down...the bolts still race in on you.
