Drake sees as the second bolt is screeching at him, he readies his saber and tries to dodge the blaster shot that is steadily closing him on. He tries to do to a quick turn and hopefully the shot will zoom past him.

This bolt has already defeated your reflexes. It will hit unless you roll a successful bolt deflection with your saber

So with my -2 Force Check, here is my roll

Don't forget that you add 2 as well for charisma modifier. Use the force checks on anything gives you +2 because it is tied into your charisma core ability remember?

So 6+2, then minus 2 equals 6. The shot hits man.

Ouch!!!!! a 4.

As the shot goes screeching through the air, Drake feeble attempt at a deflection doesn't work out and the shot peirces his chest, doing quite a bit of damage and almost knocking him off the bridge as he stumbles. He shakes the pain off and then goes in for his attack, he grips his saber and then slings it threw the air toward the closest gaurd. The sound of the saber cutting through the air at this fast speed could be heard from a ways away, Drake bet.

Dude, you need to roll your attack plus melée attack bonus. You also need to announce which guard you are swinging at. Anytime you are attacking, you post, announce who your attacking and then roll your attack all in the same post.

Okay, I am attacking gaurd 6 and my Melee Attack Bonus is +2

Your Lightsaber sizzles in satisfaction at hitting it's mark as the 6th guard falls to the steel bridge in two pieces. The third guard, mad that his commrade had fallen in battle, rushes at you screaming like a mad man and fires his round. The bolt's red hot presence is coming quickly.

In his fit of anger, the guard does not aim and fires of a stray shot. It misses and heads out into open space, disappearing as the distant darkness swallows it whole. The fourth guard the takes aim and lets loose a bolt of his own.

Drake laughes as the shot of the third gaurd goes zooming in toward the space of the planet's atmosphere, he suddenly sees the other gaurd's blaster round screeching toward him and he arms himself with his saber. The humming as the crimson saber blade extends could be heard as Drake tries to block this blaster bolt.
